Electrical problem

parked my car and when to class, when i came out the thing wont start.

my fuel pump isnt priming, (no pressure on gauge) so thats why it wont start.

the relay isnt clicking, so i swaped it with the a/c relay... still nothing.
when i turn the key to the on position the temp gauge needle isnt moving to how hot the car is, also the radiator fans wont turn on when i turn on the ac..

I couldnet find any blown fuses.

any ideas? cause i just had a long walk home

Did you check ALL the fuses or just the ones under the dash? I had a problem were I'd put the key in and some of the lights would come on, but the gauges wouldnt move and none of the dash lights would flash on. Turned out to be the fuse labeled B1 under the hood.

ok, car didnt start again today. any ideas, i tried jumping the egi like i did yesterday. no luck today.

my odomiter isnt coming on, none of my stock gauges, basically nothing comes on when i turn the key on... the car still turns over, and the radio relay is like the only relay under the hood clicking. I am getting a laptop tomorrow to check if my haltech is still working, any other ideas what the hell is going on.

also still no blown fuses.

corvettes look better and better every day

Electrical Problem

Could be the EGI Relay caused the EGI fuse to short out because of the fix you did or due to it being faulty.. check that and B1 fuse. Failing that switch them just in case.

been studying the diagrams for a couple of hours now, it looks as if after the ignition switch the wiring goes seperate for the egi and the gauges. so i must have a short somewhere near the ignition switch... right?
