Electrical issues

Hey Everyone....having a starting issue. Yesterday I was able to start my car...just bought it and was able to clear out the 2nd rotor and got it to idle at 750 rpms. Might be able to drive it for a little while....anyways it started yesterday on a jumper box. Today after installing a new battery it won't start, doesn't even crank. Tested the bottom clutch switch and bypassed it and still won't crank. Pulled the new battery out and put the old one on with the jumper...and still won't start(same setup as the day before when it started). I then put the new battery back in and tested it with my snap on battery tester....battery reads good. Checked all fuses in the car....they are all good. The weird thing I notice was the tach was jumping all over the place once in a while. From 3k. back down then to 9k then back , then back to 9k where it stayed until I disconnected the battery. Another thing is the radio doesn;t work. Everthing else besides it cranking seems to work fine. What's wrong? Help Please

check your grounds..... If your new to the rotary world, welcome to the hell/money pit/time-suck that is owning an FD.

Regardless, I'm willing to bet that the ground points are not making good contact, or are missing and thats whats causing some if not all of your problems.

i second the grounding issue, as it is a big issue. and its often overlooked until you yourself have the ground problem. spend the 40 bucks it costs and do this

Thanks Everyone....I did the security bypass and it started right up. Radio still doesn't work and the tach jumps around every now and then....I'll check the grounds.
