electrical gremlins!!! Grrrrr..
ok my headlights wont turn on, they wont pop up or down, but make a buzzing sound from the popup motors, and I have no dash lights what so ever.. wtf?? my battery is good, my brake likes work fine and my car is grounded properly.. what am i missing here??

First, I would find the electric wire diagram of the headlight and the gauge cluster. Find the common point between those 2, the connection on those 2 might be short to ground together causing this problem. Also check if any fuses have been blown or not. Start from there and let us know more symptoms.

ive checked the fuses and nothings blown, i dont have a electrical schematic in front of me to check that out so if someone has one please post it!! then i can track it down.. this sucks!!!

as for the symptoms its just no lights at all from the headlights or dash lights. could it be possible my switch in the collom has went out?? but that wouldnt make the lights not move up or down would it?? i mean they make sound like they want to work but it just buzzes like its filled with bees!! grr this is frusterating lol..

its in the relay box up by the hood latch, if you have the stock intercooler its under the big black ducting piece.
you can't find them anywhere but mazda. go to your local dealership or call Ray at Malloy Mazda.
PS - Don't always look for the cheapest possible solution to every problem, most of the time with these cars you do in fact get what you pay for.
