Electrical connector Magic..

Yeah I know it's not magic, but I swear it appeared out of no where. I tried looking through the electrical section of the FSM and the wiring diagrams but i got no luck. I am still lost on only one connector, it's the female side of a spade connecter with a black plastic housing (clip). I am so lost onto where it goes. The other two on the harness, upper intake manifold to firewall ground is connected and so is the coolant level? sensor by the oil filter. Where does this third identical connector go? I'm finally ready to start the car and tune it but I dont want to start it until I get this plug, plugged in. Thanks for any info or help that I can get ahead of time.

P.s. I also tried finding it by wire color in the FSM Black with Red, and I couldn't find it. Please help!

Yeah, I'm trying to borrow my friends digital camera again so I can take a picture of it. If it's easier, you know the ground point that's on the UIM that connects to the firewall, stock it is a grounding strap. Well that kind of connector is the same exact style. Just a black single wire clip-on connector, with a female spade end.

I got it onto a website. Please just look at the bottom left of the page and I circled the plug in red.

if you could tell us what part of the engine bay the sensor seems to end up in, it would be a help. i'm not sure if that plug is the one, but there is a female connector that stays unplugged if you have a manual car (plugs in for auto's). it usually can be found between the intake and the overflow res.

Ughh, are you serious that'd be awesome. It ends up right behind the alternator, reaching to the p/s pump one way or if you swing it to the other side it goes near the filler neck. All three of the plugs on the filler neck are connected, besides that one is a white connected and the thermosensor is green, and lastely, the other connector is a round connector plug.

There is a connector that that type of female plug connects to down behind the power steering pump. I cannot recall the sensor or system, but I believe the male side is taped to the side of another harness. If no one has an answer by tomorrow, I will look at my car to night and verify what it connects to.

so only slightly OT - is this an aftermarket engine bay wiring harness for the FD, or did you recreate your OEM one yourself?

^ The one in the picture was wrapped with an insulating material. Forget what it is called.

It was wrapped with the silicone heat self-fusing heat-tape and was then covered with a high temp nylon wireloom. Then just some red electrical tape .

I will check behind my P/S pump but there are a few white plugs with spade connectors on the pump that i never disconnected.

Is this true? Where can I verify this?

Thanks, I really appreciate it, I'm gonna look over everything very carefully like I have been doing several times before. I will post some more info asap.

P.S. Thanks for all the fast responses.

Thanks but that is already connected.

EDIT*

It did go behind the Power Steering pump to some plug that was just dangling off the sub harness, but where I couldn't see it until I jacked the car up. Thanks a lot jd to rescue.

More photos of your heat insulation material please. Is this split-loom? Heat shrink? Lots of high-temp tape? It's difficult to tell from the photo.

Thanks,

that plug is the coolant level sensor wire. it does not go to the ecu, but its wrapped into the harness and connects to a plug in the drivers side chassis harness. the other side plugs into the coolant level sensor on the front of the water pump housing. use a test light or continuity checker to verify this. i'm a 100% sure based on the location in the pic. the 2 other wires are for the crank angle sensors.
