Question electrical connector ?

OK...this is my virgin post. I'm putting things back together after my fpd/vacuum hose adventure, and I have an electrical connector without a home. Its blue and located on the wiring harness tentacle that has the turbo precontrol & wastegate control solenoid connectors, along with the airpump connector. Where does this thing belong?!!?

IT go to the EGR VALVE if the valve has an electrical switch, some do not . If not just let it hang free , not hooked up .

Thanks for all the help guys...should have her up and running in a day or so. THIS FORUM IS KICK-***! I bought the car in mid-feb., smelled fuel on the drive home (fpd), and it has been in the driveway ever since! Finally, its all coming together. I sense total obsession developing...

hell yeah, thanks! i spent like an hour trying to figure out where the hell that ****** goes - great timing on the question.

how about this though? i've got 2 female black connectors. one is with the wiring bundle from the oil metering pump, and the other comes from the large wiring bundle originating under the UIM. any ideas?

the wire with that comes out of the oil metering pump wiring bundle is black, with a loose plastic heat shield around it.

the one coming from under the UIM is tan/dull yellowish with a white stripe (sorry, about the desc., color blind).

any help is GREATLY aprpeciated!

it's a standard brass female connector (flat on the bottom, with the ends bent in a half-circle meeting on top of the flat part in the middle. The plastic casing is black. this connector comes out of the bundle on the same side where the big oil metering pump connector is. there is only about 6 inches of wire from where it splits off from the OMP connector, and right now is sitting behind the alternator.

Silver 93:
The only connectors I had direclty behind the alternator were for the charge relief solenoid (not likely), and the knock sensor. Knock sensor wire comes out of the "branch" of the main harness that heads across the motor (toward the driver's side) behind the alternator. Its a single spade connector I think...hard to remember b/c I had to scrap the connector due to bad wiring and splice in new wire (beginning of this thread). Hope this helps.
