EGR fix w/12v relay works!

https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...ight=egr+relay

Just did this relay fix and no more Check Engine light!

I didn't block off the EGR valve tho'...just left it on, I'm guessing it'll stay closed all the time.

I'll block it off some other day.

If you remove that Damn thing is it still possible to pass Sniffer? I get that code every now and then. I would like to do that, but honestly i don't know much about it. I have stock cat and air pump hooked up.

egr

If you disconnect the egr and or fool the engine computer into thinking the valve is working correctly the light check engine light wont come on, but depending on where you live and what gasses are tested you may fail the NoX levels. ON the other hand there are worse things, which could happen. The egr is there to slow down the flame front during combustion by introducing a mixture mass which has less oxygen and wont support combustion and it has a cooling effect overall Disconnecting it may cause the engine to detonate. I am new to rotaries but I know this is a bad thing here.
