EGI Fuse Blowing, Done a lot of work already
So my FD is blowing EGI fuses like crazy and i've been working on this issue for awhile now, but its too the point where i can't drive it.
This is what i have done so far. I first started looking in the obvious places for a wire that had rubbed through. Using a multimeter and moving wires around trying to recreate the problem. I've looking under the UIM, above the splash guard on the drivers font tires where that harness runs, around the haltech, around all the fuse boxes.
I then replaced the wiring harness that goes from the main fuse box to the alternator and starter because i was almost sure thats where the short was (there are a bunch of other wires that run in this harness with two clips that sit near the fuse boxes). I also replaced the alternator because i thought it was the voltage regulator inside it (I was like 99% sure), but i was wrong.
The fuses seem to blow only once the car is warmed up so i'm thinking it is a component of some sort instead of the wiring, but i'm still not sure.
Does anyone have any idea on what to check next? Also, can anyone give me a list of everything that the EGI fuse controls and also everywhere the wiring goes after the fuse. I can't seem to find much info on it.
A few mods are in my sig and most of the rest can be found in the garage section in this site.

Do you have the electrical diagram? Use that to trace it back.

It definitely seems to be heat or "length of car running" related. I was driving it around my apartment complex a couple days ago trying to recreate the problem and sure enough it blew a fuse after getting on it in 1 st a couple times. I put another fuse in right away and it blew instantly. I just went back to my car acouple minutes ago, put a new fuse in, it started right up and I drove it back to my garage. Its really throwing me for a loop.

The EGI fuse distributes electricity to the following components:
EGI Main relay,
Injectors,
Data link connector,
Air pump relay,
Solenoid valves, (turbo control, double-throttle, ACV, charge relief, AWS, etc... )
and ECU.
Have you messed with any of these things recently?

Here is a link to some wiring diagram info: https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generation-specific-1993-2002-16/desperately-need-pictures-scanned-wiring-diagram-421529/
The data link connector is the box on the driver-side of the engine where you can check engine codes.
