It took me 45 min because I had a stripped nut on the rear inlet elbow that I had to fight w/ some Visegrips.
It shouldn't take anyone longer than 1 hour tops.

Notes:
This kit is a worthwhile addition. Includes two new aluminum pipes. One replaces the longer Y-Pipe coming off the turbo and now has a flange fitting instead of slip fitting at the top. Also, the plastic pipe that used to attach to this pipe with a slip coupler is replaced with aluminum, also with a flange fitting. This eliminates the possibilities of the slip coupling popping off under high boost, or the plastic pipe breaking. Smoother airflow brings the added benifit of 10 additional horsepower. From the 1996 Japanese Efini RX-7. Includes all necessary hardware.

Update: Shortly after my last post on this thread, project y-pipe was completed. It was really no hassle at all. I wanted to know what needed to be removed ahead of time, but its pretty self explanatory once you get down to doing it. If anyone has any questions on the install feel free to ask.
OK why do you need a pulley kit when you take out the AIR PUMP. I thought you just needed a shorter belt. Where do I have to put the pully or is it a substitute for other pulley's? God I hate air pumps! Why does it feel like my dashpot is F.U.B.R. when I disconnect it, but when I reconnect it, IT'S FINE!
You can get a shorter belt, but the belt size you would need to use the stock pullies without the air pump is almost impossible to find. Getting a pulley kit simplifies things by allowing you to use a more common belt size.

No you can get one like the Greddy kit which is just Alternator and Water Pump.

How do you get the bolts loose and tightened since the pulley turns as you try and torque the bolt off the pulleys?
There's an SST for it, but I just use an impact wrench. I bought an air compressor recently and some air tools and they really do save you a lot of trouble. If you don't have an A/C just go down to your local Home Depot Tool Library and buy the DeWalt electric impact wrench and the appropriate sockets for it, then do the job and return it.

Indigo sell's a pully kit also, jason at the RX-7 store has them in stock for around $130 or so in several diffrent colors..
