Efini Y pipe

The stock plastic pipe that goes from the Turbo outlet to the intercooler broke. Should I just upgrade to using an Efini Y pipe?

Yep, but you can pick up the stock plastic cross over tube fairly cheap in the for sale section. I don't think the $250 is worth it just for the "reliability," but is if you want the performance.

Just buy a used stock one, and just get an aftermarket coupler. Make sure that coupler is on really tight. IMO its not worth the $250....

They are alot of money, but for reliability and power...you could easily spend more money on something with less benefit. Just my .02.

I would get it. It seems kind of silly to replace it with a stock y pipe + cross-over, then have to change it again when that leaks. It would be similar to saying, "damn, my pre-cat (or cat), radiator, ast, etc is clogged/cracked, I need to replace it with a stock one."

Of course stock y pipes +crossovers are much cheaper than efini ones. The same can't be said about other parts. The efini adds reliablilty to a component that is not very reliable, therefore well worth the $250 or so IMO
