ECU questions

First off, please don't tell me to do a search, because I have done many to no avail. Now, I will soon be recieving a pettit ecu. I just installed a water temp. gauge and have had my A/C on most of the time to keep it cool. My question is: other than fuel and timing, does the new ecu change anything else? Will it kick the fans on sooner, or am I going to have to do the fan mod? Also, does it get rid of the hesitation? Thanks for your help.

You will need to do the fan mod (The Apex PFC) can turn the fans on at a lower temp (or you can pick the temp) not sure. Pettits ECU (as far as I know) changes the fuel maps. Now the hesitation thingy...I found if it was there before the Pettit ECU it will be worse under easy driving...you won't notice it under full throttle driving....you know (around town easing on the gas) it will stumble and possibly buck if you don't let off or push harder. You may want to see if the ground from the chasis to the exhaust pipe is gone....mine was and it made a difference.
