ecu question
i was wondering because i might have to take out my battery to get it tested/ new one.. it wont erase any of the settings or tune will it?
Its £300 a remap in the UK !.No the mapping is not lost.

Assuming you have a PFC, the only way to reset the map(back to the original settings) is to manually hit the "all data init" function in the commander. I'm pretty sure if the battery has been disconnected for a while, the PFC will be "reset" just like the stock ECU. Meaning the tuned map is still in the PFC, but you'll probably have to go through the idle learning process.
