ECU Final answer

Okay, After ugrading my intake and removing the airp pump I've notived carbon build up on my rear bumper and a surging idle so I started reading Dale's post about the power FC, excellent BTW thx Dale, yet I just dont have time to do all the comparison shopping and feel my next step in an ECU upgrade.

I have a 94 stock motor with about 78K and basically the Petit TKT:
3 in downpipe with heat wrap
Cat back
BOV
AST
Cold air intake
Air pump removed
Boost gauge

I live in hot Orlando florida and am trying to build a properly tuned daily driver not max power.

Which ECU do I need???

Suggestions appreciated
many thanks

Keep the power FC. If you have removed the air pump you need to turn off the O2 feedback on the PFC. See how much that helps.

PFC. It is the most widely used ecu among RX7 enthusiasts and will do most anything you would ever think of accessing. There is boatloads of knowledge on here as well as any tuner that works with RX7's that you may use as a resource.
