ECU failure?
Hey,
Has anyone ever had their ECU develop problems? If so, what are the symptoms of an ECU problem? Is it possible that a flaw in the ECU can mess up one system while leaving the rest of the car fine.
Only reason I ask is that I have a persistent idle problem that is defying diagnosis: Not the AWS, not a intake tract leak, not the MAP sensor, not the TPS. The only things I haven't checked are the one-way valves in the vacuum line system and the idle speed control solenoid (the resistance on this solenoid is fine, but I have yet to remove it and test for sure if it works).
