What are your goals and needs?

If you need a programmable ECU, you find anything more supported and cost effective than the Apexi Power FC.

Used Pettit/M2 ecu - $400 from the forum
new PFC - $700-1100 from JDM vendors

That depends on what you want to do with your car. You can use a Pettit ECU which can get you up to about 350-360rwhp with all bolt-ons and a ported motor. If you need/want to go higher, you'll need something like the PFC.

Your not going to spend money till you have "lots of problems".

Earlier you said you wanted a ECU so you wouldn't "pop your motor".

I believe he was referring to his single conversion he wants to do later (and having lots of problems with the sequential system).
