Are the ebay strut bars junk?

I was wondering if anyone has bought a ebay front strut bar.I bought a cusco for my last fd and i honestly did not feel that the car handled any better with it.

No, they're fine. I have one. I bought one a long time ago when there weren't so cheap.

some are crappier than others. The 'motoria' brand ones are a knock off of the cusco design. They work pretty good. Nice and solid construction.

I bought a Megan bar for my FD on ebay. I'd like to get an R1 bar but those cost like 10x more than the ebay ones. The front end feels a bit tighter but most people wont notice the difference on a street car.

i have one installed in my car for months now and it works fine. basically its just a piece of metal that reinforces your suspension, nothing special. they are all the same and the expensive ones you are just paying for the name.

I have one on mine and I spent more on shipping than I did for the part 10.00 total. Seems to be good. It took about 5 minutes to install.

Not much clearance but if you are within stock spec (in height) you should be OK. BTW: The brand name bars are pretty low also.
