i also want to know

i dont think they come with new gaskets though, so it would be an extra 30$ for a new set.

glad I did a SOY'ch. I'd hate to be classified as a n00b!

I was looking for an answer to the same question as Kevin's.

It's a replica of the B&M. If someone wants to take apart their real B&M and see if it's absolutely identical, that would be cool. There is another company "Topspeed" selling a copy for about $125 and they lied and advertised as JDM (liars) ...who's the dummy that bid on it ? It's the same replica. JSPEC is used even more loosley. Hello people, all Japanese cars are Japanese Spec. That does not make it JDM.

there are two companies on ebay selling the B&M SS. One is in CA where you'd have to pay the 8.25% tax and there is another based in Ohio where the sales tax is not applicable.
You can even email the guy off ebay and ask him for an "Off Ebay" price. It should be a little better.

I have the Gotham SS and I like it. It's a little stiff and takes some getting used to but after having it for awhile, I wouldn't go back to stock.
just my 2cents

do you really want a short throw shifter? i persnoally think the throw is short (not THAT short) but its efficient enough for you to shift quickly and reliably. if anything id say to get it for improved guidance and durability rather than to actually shorten the throw haha.
