well 20 dollars is his starting bid its not the final price unless no one bids on it. at the looks of his score and feedbak rating it doesnt look like he will rip you off by it not being real. they start the first bid rela low to get more bids and have a bigger price at the end. i think you should be fine.

I use one...I've never used another aftermarket short shifter so i have nothing to compare it to. The shifts are very short. No rattles or anything. Its a bit notchy when shifting at slower speeds (everyday driving) but when going through the gears its pretty sweet. I've heard they are all notchy anyway so I'm not to concerned with that. I also used the mazdatrix aluminum bushing. I would say go for it.

I have a B&M and an E-bay short shifter and looking at them they look like they were made on the same CNC machine. They feel the same also. The only difference I can tell is the color. I'm not saying all E-bay short shifters are the same but that is my experience.

As most have said, I have nothing to compare it too, however a friend of mine but a cheap short shifter for his car (just a civic) and got in an accident while holding the shifter and broke it in half! Seems to me that if a human body brakes metal that it can't be too sturdy, but like I side I don't have anything to compare it to.

Not too long ago someone on here had a thread about breaking one of the more expensive short shifters (gotham, B&M, RRX7Store) while driving.

Installed the cheap one on ebay, works great. No noise, and shifter is nice and stiff and notchy, like all other short shifters.

Very pleased for a $45 short shifter.

nah it was easy, all u need a 10mm,12mm socket and a 6mm allen socket. Took about 10-15 minutes, with me shooting the **** with a friend.

comes with very basic instructions, because its a very easy install.

all you gotta do is:
remove shift ****
pop the center console thingy, unplug connectors
remove rubber boot with 10mm(deep socket)
remove the 4 12mm bolt holding shifter
knock the shifter loose( theres silicon holding it in)
clean, apply new silicon
install shifter with new bolts supplied with kit
reinstall everything else
wipe the sweat off your forehead and drink another beer :-)
