buying anything on ebay is iffy. just look at the fact that they have sold almost 40,000 items and have had few complaints. i would pay through paypal so you have some insurance if you get them and they don't look like the picture or you just know it isn't real.

Not a bad price, but that HKS intake isn't all that. Crappy foam filters, still uses the stock rubber accordion hoses, etc.

Take a look at the Fighters Garage intake. I designed it myself - aluminum hard pipes, real K&N filters, good fit and finish, for a fair price -

Since you are in Ca, you will probably have to pass smog. Those HKS filters won't pass. A modified stock airbox will work better than open filters, and will pass smog.

Just look at it this way. That piece is the only thing keeping dirt/dust/bugs...whatever...out of your turbos and your engine. I wouldn't mess around with things that you aren't 100% sure about. Tires are the same way...and safety things (like racing harnesses).
