eBay Exhaust Question

Here is one of the Catbacks I have found on eBay that are made from HKSA USA of IL. I was wondering if anyone has ever used them and what they think of them. Thanks.

I would not touch anything that guy sells. I believe he is the one that sells the Dragger tips and the Apex short shifter that "vibrates for around 500 miles, then its cool" Apex deffinately does not make a short shifter... Things like this are shady and best left avoided... Unless you want to be the guinea pig and do some dyno tuning before and after this thing to convince the Rx-7 community.

yup, i suggest that everyone stay away from these sorts of deals and be very careful. this guy obviously thinks that if he adds an "a" to a brand name company someone will get fooled and think that its actually made by that company... BUYER BEWARE!

I've enquired about this guy on this list before, because he also sells downpipes and midpipes for FD's. No one had anything good to say about him. I'd stay away. The HKSA thing is kinda funny... he also sells it as an N1 Catback exhaust, which is obviously a lie, since Apexi makes the N1. He says that you'd pay $550 for a mild steel catback, and $770 for a stainless one??? Aren't all of those ~$500 catbacks on the Rx7 Store stainless, or am I missing something?

I purchused the exhaust by hksa. It was a good deal and the fit and finish is excellent. It is completely stainless steel. It sounds awesome and comes with a scilencer. For $500 I got the stainless steel mid pipe.

Look at 'Johnny Two Posts' up here ^ ..... seems a little odd to me... (and he spelled silencer wrong... or maybe thats an 'HKSa' trademark)

Nice call Cap'nWankel, but we must remember not to discriminate against people with few posts, it's the people with few posts and positive things to say that we must be weary of. As far as myself, you won't be hearing much in the realm of positive, so fear not agreeing with me.

... Not to mention he's Canadian!

Even with over 2000 feedbacks, I wouldn't buy from the person in the ebay ad. He's got 61 negative feedbacks in the last 6 months alone, and percentage wise, that's too big of a risk for me. The consistent theme of the negative feedbacks (and many of the neutral ones) is that the parts don't fit properly. If you don't care, so be it, just my $.02
