E-Brake light staying on.

For about the last two weeks my Emergency brake light has come on without the emergency brake being engaged...it comes on when the first time i start the car for the day and even after warming the car up it comes on when you give it gas...it also comes on when you give it a considerable about of throttle even after it has stopped coming...itll usually stop if i turn the car off for a while or i let it idle...

anyone have the same problem?...any help?
low on brake fluid or ecu maybe idk...thanks...

Have you checked the brake fluid? Or the E brake switch under the center console is out of adjustment/stuck

either you need to adjust the e brake tigher and its being able to pull its way up on acceleration or the little switch on the handle needs adjusted so its not being pushed in or out. cant remember if this one is normally closed or open. It's not from low fluid

Really? Can you see the level of his brake reservoir from where you are?

exactly....i had a small leak in the rubber clutch line and my light went on. Was sort of intermittent while driving because the fluid would slosh around

well if its not the ebrake switch than its an indication that theres an issue with the standard brake system, generally low fluid (could be a bad sensor) or something at the caliper itself.

with the ebrake disengaged if the red brake light stays on that means theres an issue with the brakes, on any make or model of car.

Or the rear pads are simply worn down?
