Exclamation e-brake light comes on during hard acceleration

The parking brake light comes on immediately during hard acceleration. After I let off the throttle it goes away fairly quickly. I know the handle is not lifting during the acceleration to cause the light to come on. I make sure it stays down and stil the light will come on. I am thinking maybe I have a loose electrical connection somewhere but dont know where to start looking. Any suggestions? Thanks alot.

Check your fluid level.

Mine did that for awhile too.
When I changed my clutch out I had the shifter boot and center console aprat, so I fiddled with the adjustment **** next to the shifter to make the handle tighter. I think it's an 8mm (or 10mm?) adjustment nut.

Over time it had just worked itself loose. After tightening it, no issues. Should be a 5 minute fix.

Mine does this too. I was told a spring in the ebrake itself is dying/dead. It's very distrubing to see a red light click on right as you hit WOT.

take out the ashtray, pop up the panel, get I think a 10mm deep well socket and tighten the bolt that you see on the parking brake, the bolt should be easily visible

O.K....I just got the panel off and saw the bolt everyone is talking about. However it seems to be in such an odd spot that i cant seem to get at it to tighten it. How did you guys tighten it? Thanks again.
