dynoed my car today
sounds about right... get a mid pipe, and dyno tune your PFC according to your mods and you should be breaking into 300 in no time
Which cat-back do you have right now, and are u running the stock maps on the PFC?

Boost Control?
How much boost were you running. Do the stock PFC maps keep boost at 10 psi even with those mods. I remember one of the R2's I looked at was overboosting because of the downpipe, catback, and intake, but he was on the stock computer. SO i guess my question is will the PFC keep boost at 10 psi. I get my car on thursday, and those will be my first mods. Intake, DP, Cat back, and PFC.

Did you use a wideband while you were making the dyno runs? That number actually seems a bit low at 12psi. It seems like you should be about 20hp higher. Most likely, this is due to conservative tuning on the PFC. I made 293hp with essentially the same modifications, through the stock intercooler. FYI, IC's are rarely worth any more than 5hp on the dyno. It's on the road where they make the hp.

I dyno tested the M2 medium and the CWC IC (which I own) back to back with the stock IC. I saw no real gains. The M2 made 3hp more than stock, the CWC made 4 hp more than the M2, tested in that order. Each IC was bone-cold before installing it and running the car on the dyno. The stock IC was 30K old, the CWC 3K old and the M2 was brand new out of the box, loaned by a friend for testing purposes. NO ice/alcohol was used, just a fan to keep the engine relatively cool. And that's using "relatively" in a very loose manner :-)

the best way to simulate real world IC cooling is to ice it down, spray it with a water/alcohol mixture, and place a medium sized fan in front of it. that should give you a good power gain on the dyno.
