Arrow Dyno Results

This was my first experience at a Dyno...pretty neat place. Sorry if this is hard to read, the colors are really similar. There are two runs on this chart (1st(red) and 2nd(blue) settings on the PMC). Its nice to have +20wrhp at the flip of a switch. So far I enjoy the PFS purple box, it's real easy to program.

ignition break up for the drop, boost spike for the up?
just guessing. i can't find my dyno sheet at the moment but it was pretty smooth w/pfc. great numbers though! a/f???

edit: the sequential dropoff is just past 4500rpm...the one i mentioned is at 5250, not very significant.

A/F was just around 11.7:1. I just replaced the plugs about 1500miles ago...is an ignition amp worth it? There was a little bit of a boost spike.

the drop and spike (high rpm) is on the 1st setting also, just amplitfied in the second.

That is the two sensors right under the intake manifold, on top of the motor. They are side by side. I had this same problem. When it gets more advanced, your boost will start to fluctuate on the top end, as the car is struggling to hold consistent boost. I'm sorry that I forgot what the sensors are called.
As aleays, it could be something else, but i'm 98% sure that you have the same problem that I had.
Good luck.
Jim

Actually, you are a little wavey on top aren't you. Check those sensors. If that's it, it's an easy fix.

The clutch would have nothing to do with the production or maintaining of boost. Your boost will still be the same but your car won't pull, and you'll get that really bad smell.

true but he didn't say he lost boost (at drop) so i didn't know if it was related. and the clutch would have something to do with putting power to the wheels.

but, yeah. you'd smell it too!

i just wanted an excuse to show off me [sarcasm]impressive[/sarcasm] graphical abilities :p

You're right, he didn't say anything about boost. But the problem that I think he has will show itself in the form of uneven boost and a big canyon at the changeover. If you look at the upper part of his curve, you can see the uneveness.
I did notice your artistic skills though.
You did that rather quickly too.
