im sure its the dp cause i have no mid pipe right now. when i was cranking i smelled fuel. re checked the fuel lines checked under the upper intake manifold and no odor of fuel from there. then i checked underneath the car and there it was. this also happened to me with a fc that had rtek. that **** was leaking from the header and turbo exhaust housing.... scary

you might have bad o rings on the injector rails ... that are not sealing that dump fuel in the engine under pressure ...
take off the fuel rails ... pressurize the system ( jump start the fuel pump ) and look at them upside-down ( injectors facing the sky )... the problem/solution will be obvious

The fuel lines should pressurize with fuel, but no fuel should come out.

ok ill try that next. but i still didnt see any visible leak... and it still doesnt explain the fuel in the exhaust. on the second gen it turned out to be faulty injectors

If you have a leak around an o-ring or a stuck injector, it will flood the compression chamber with fuel. When you attempt to start the car, the rotors will start to push the fuel out of the exhaust ports then out exhaust. If you have excess fuel in the compression chamber, where do you think it's going to go?

^^^ JAJAJA turns out that was the problem. the top oring on the injector is ok. but the one at the bottom was missing, on both! a stupid mistake. oh well, a great learning experience none the less!!! thanks Mahjik!!!!!
