i recently got a 93...clueless about rotary's and still learning but some days when i start the car before going to class. it races (rpms) then it drops down to its lower idle does every rx7 do this or is that hinting at something or what.

 

I believe you're talking about the automatic warmup system, it revs the engine up when you start it to heat up the cats faster. It's normal.

 

You can eliminate that by starting the car in gear, or replacing the stock ECU with a Power FC.

OR when it starts to raise tha rpms up just blip tha throttle and it'll settle back down.
