Dumb @$$es
Hey guys,
The previous owners of my car did a real number on the electrical wiring. It seems they wanted to put their "professional" skills in wiring to use. Wires are spliced into other spliced wires and some are connected just by simply twisting them together(no solder or connectors). my question is that my radio (after market) has recently started to come on when it wants to. When its off my dome lights won't come on, and vice versa. ANY ideas??

Best thing is to just remove the radio and start repairing the wiring. There may have been a badly-installed alarm at some point too. But, most of that wiring should be easy to get to and find.

Yeah i got an after market alarm installed by hifi buys (warranty on installation). I have had problems popping up since (radio, starting) but I wasn't sure if it was the cause.
