Driving with no ps/ac belt

My ac/ps belt broke and Ive no time to fix it yet, will running the car without it hurt it any? I dont use the AC and Im fine driving without power steering. Also, is there a belt I could buy to run just the power steering with?

Driving with no P/S puts a lot of stress on the column. I wouldn't recommend that for long. We all know how easily things break on an RX-7

There's driving with no power steering, then there's driving with the belt off. The effort is MUCH harder, as you become the hydraulic pump pumping all the fluid through the system.

It takes maybe 10 minutes to change that belt out, and they're commonly available at most parts stores. MAKE time and do it. Your FD deserves better than that.

last year when i went to the sema show in atlantic city, my ps belt snapped on the way home, about 40 miles from home on the highway and i noticed it as soon as i encountered my first turn..it sucked bad..

when i popped the hood, the belt was still there but it was ripped and hanging somewhere..i was lucky it didnt interfere with the other moving acc..
