clutch is on/off and screaches like fingernails on a chalkboard, transmission wines louder then your car, the exhaust is earshattering, shifts sound like a cuncusion granade, etc.

My clutch never made noises but the thing that bothered me was all the little squeaks and such from the car just driving along; i guessed it was just normal.

My car drives great quiet when you want it but if you mash it, it gets loud. Good gas mileage to my standards, wish it had tilt steering, and with the mazdaspeed replica I dont have windshield washers... I am getting a T04R turbo installed thursday and a tune by dee whenever he makes his way up here so I would like to see some better gas mileage numbers when I dont boost, but on boost different story lol. We will see I am going for drivability and power at the same time I just want to clean out the bay

Ha, with a diff brace, tranny brace, and engine dampener I get all kinds of funny noises. You definitly dont realize how loud tranny synchros are till you get a tranny brace.

Mines great, no rattles from the interior except on cold mornings when the plastic is cold. Once it's warmed up, it quiet. The ride with the coilovers is fine for me but now that the wife has the 05 RX-8, she'd rather take her car since it's a more comfortable ride, quieter too.

Car squeaks here and there. The instrument dials are kind of loose. Empty metal can sound when i close the door. Just putting in new rear pillowball bushing, hope that will remove the clunking noise completely! the car is bad on gas, and smells bad :P

When I smash the loud pedal, the front end shoots up and all I can see is the sky. That's kind of annoying.

My car can be driven every day, I just don't want to. The ride is crippling, the shifter is VERY firm, the clutch pedal is obviously stiffer than stock, and when I step on the brakes too hard when the Porterfields are still cold, they squeal like no other. Still, makes for one hell of a car to take down/up highway 1, and into the mountains on the weekends.

Currently, my FD is fine for the most part - it's stock except for DP, exhaust, intakes and IC piping, AST and some suspension upgrades. The only noises I really hear are in the hatch area but I think we all get that (?). Suspension is fine and smooth for most part...but driving over cracked/bumpy roads or railroads is horrendus I tell 'ya! =/Also, when going over a speed bump/hump in 1st or 2nd with clutch in/gas off..shifter area makes a winding down type noise (TO Pilot Bearing I'm told?). Other than that, those are mmy audible quarks currently...

My FD is back to normal (somewhat) for now. There are some minor things that bother me but it doesnt affect driving. And since i havent drove it for a good solid 7-8 months, i dont really care. I just wanna enjoy it for what its worth before i take it off insurance for the winter.

I get some rattling noises at idle, my idle itself is high (about 1300rpm). My suspension is all f'ed up, and my windows dont work, not to mention i have no radio anymore so i hear EVERYTHING lol.

But at this point i dont care.

sometimes, especially night time alone, i will like to listen to my fd so i will switch off the music. i hate the way when accelerating between 1500-2200rpm (some mechanics told me) the clutch bearing rattles and causing noise... : ( other than that.. just minor vibration noise from the driver door (no idea) and somewhere in the middle which i will never find out while driving. last thing is "ignition noise" from starting the engine for the first time in any particular day.

stock fd drivers door sounds empty when it gets shut some mild interior rattle butt anoying. on hot days there is clunking in the rear I think bushings or something of that sort are dried out.

don't know if this is normal and its quite annoying, when im driving along and come across a little bump or groove in the road the steering wheel will just pull to one side really hard ( think its called tracking?) or especially when im on the brakes trying to slow down and hit a bump or groove. Thats y whenever im driving really got to hold the wheel hard.

I've already had the wheel alignments and all the cambers and casters adjusted, it kind of made it better but it still does it.

Anyone else have this problem?

I think they call it bump steer. If you have big wheels, that's a likely culprit. Also, some tires just tend to follow cracks and lines more than others.

suspension clunk, and rattling/squeaking sounds get to me every now and then. as for the exhaust noise... sometimes the constant BURRRRRRRRRRRR gets to me and i try to turn the music up... only to be reminded that my speakers suck-***. i love the way she wails when the second turbo is on though.

my biggest gripe is my damned oil leak sending oil everywhere.... and the smoke when im stopped at a light or in traffic.

my wheels are only 17s, 8 front and 8.5 rear , actually they are the spirit r rims.
i mean i've been in cars that are dropped on 19s or 20s and have this similar problem (bump steer), thats understandable i guess.
But mine is not even lowered a tiny bit ,still on standard height and only on 17s.
Maybe coz the wheels are fat and grippy??
