well i was sitting here (drunk) online and i was just wondering how many people have ever drove there fd drunk? i can honestly say i never have. now i dont really drink and drive but i have driven after a couple of beers, just not my fd. how many actually have drove there fd drunk, be honest?

I did once, boost came on and almost hit the car in front of me, luckily I was still aware enough to swerve, after that incident I never drove the FD again if I knew I was going to drink...

 

i did once but only like 1/4 mile from walmart parking lot to my buddies APT. and managed to catch a curb when boost came online....luckily it was the stockers.....NEVER AGAIN.....i'll spend some extra money and time and get a cab or call a friend.

i got banned 3 years ago for dd. Like a ***** i was doing 80 in a 50 zone where there were lots of racers on a sunday night about 10, I was just over the dd limit. As soon as i saw the blue light in the rear view i was like "oh no..pleeease,,not me..im fucked now" They originally pulled me for speeding, but after smelling my breath, they decided to take a breath sample. As soon as the light on the brathaliser turned orange they arrested me. i asked them to take my wallet and stereo faceplate out the car, put the stoplock on the wheel and arm the alarm. They only armed the alarm and got my wallet. When i told them i would hold them responsible for the stereo being nicked they turned into instant ******** and started shouting. I just said "ok **** it, just take me down the station." Whilst in the police car i had a small bag with a couple of crums of skunk.I was scared at the time and 1 of the coppers said "have you got anyting in your pockek that you shouldn`t have?" i said "iv`e got a small bag with just a couple of tiny crums of skunk, but there isnt even enough to make a single sheeter" he said "ok, just keep it in your pocket and we will sort it out in the station" **** knows what i was thinking but i took it our my pocket and hid it under the back seat of the cop car. Whilst in the station they gave me another accurate breatherliser test and i hear the cop say "****" i was like "whats wrong?" he said "well, the reading`s saying your on the limit so we will have to call the doctor out to give you a blood sample..it will take about 1 hour for him to get here". i agreed to having the blood test- i had no choice really..either risk maximim prosecution or take the test. i signed some forms then waited in the cell and was even tempted to drink water out the toilet to try and dilute the alcohol in my system, but i backed out of that. The doctor came did the test and whilst one of the coppers was signing the blood sample bag, he ticked the boxes on the bag drink and drugs. the seargent then came in and said to him "why have you ticked the drugs box for" The cop said"searj..he`s had a spliff" The seargeant said "well it`s too late now because you have not made him sign the relevant papers" so i got away with the drugs thing. At the checkout desk i got my valuables back and i said" well i might still be over the dd limit so what do i do about driving my car back home" They said "we will watch you drive it then arrest you again" i was so pissed of so i just said "ok then- WATCH ME" i walked out slamming the door and walked a mile back to the car. Once back to the car some ******** bent my passenger door window frame right back, put their arm inside and pulled the lock up. The doors were de-locked so the only other option was to smash the window.I installed the alarm myself and they simply pulled the battery terminal off the battery under the bonnet. They destroyed my dash trying to nick my kenwood stereo with 10disk changer, my jl audio 15inch sub with box and 1000watt amp. I was so upset and this was at 12.30am..i had work at 6.00am. 6 weeks later i got banned for 12months with £100fine and £50court costs. If i agreed to pay £147 for a 4 day drink drive course i would get 3 months off my ban so i did that.

That was 3 years ago and i was such a ***** i will NEVER dd again..not even 1 drink.I missed my car so much in the 9 months and it was absolutley HORIBBLE. Since then i have not smoked the **** for 1 year and what really gets me is i know a work friend who has been banned for dd but STILL does it..even this time of year..some people will never learn..

 

It is not a good idea to do this in any car, but especially a car like a 3rd gen where the boost can be a little unpredictable. And the quick steering ratio just amplifies any input you give the steering wheel, so where you might just weave slightly in the average car, you are going to be all over the road in a FD.

these cars can be rediculously unpredictable under normal driving, let alone drunk driving. Not a good idea at all. I guess after a beer or two, but never drunk, thats just stupid. im glad this guy learned his lesson.

HEHE yeah it is crumbs of marijuana, not weed because over here weed is called weed whereas marijuana is called many different names such as skunk,draw,blow and so on. My parents were killed in front of my eyes by a drunk driver a little over 2 years ago...I will never drive drunk in my life, nor do I let anyone else if I am at some sort of social event.

I dont drink so thats impossible. But i did get a short buzz off JD and i was able to act normal.

I think it depends how much you drink, you have to know your limits really. If you cant walk after a few drinks, obviously your *** cant drive a car.

i remember when i drove my fd drunk. lol. thank god it was on a 6 lane with no cars. i come around a curve and thought id drift it. well i drifted alright i done three 360's in the middle of the street. just so happens a cop is settin watchin me. i finally get the car back in the right direction when i take off the cop stops me. however in my druken state i kept going for three lights. now cause of incident i no longer have a drivers lis. however i still drive but not like that any more. learned my lesson quick.
