Drifting an FD, good or bad idea?

I have been autocross racing for more than 20 years, winning numerous season championships in my 79 CSP RX7 (sold). I have taken many "top time of the day" honors as well. I have also raced in many time trial events. I can drive.
Maybe you should take a moment before calling someone a *****. The topic of the thread is weather you think its a good idea to drift an FD. For me, it isn't a good idea.
You owe me an apology!

) to turn your car into an able drifter, I wouldn't plan on doing it in anything more than for fun. I only say this because if you get into some competitive events (Like drift events) where there's concrete barriers and what not, there's a serious chance you could total your FD. Just look at Calvin's car and keep in mind he was pretty experienced...

what are you talking about again?
holy **** what did that FD hit ???
the experience i have is with two guys that drift FC's and know its a bitch to do it right... my FD if i had any skill would have been drifting nice.... without really doing anything to change the setup except tires. 240sx's have decent rear suspensions. i dunno. when i get my FC fixed up and go drift it i'll give you my own personal observations

I think some of you are getting the setting wrong on drifting.
Japanese people likes to setup there cars like somewhat close to road course type cars. From there they tweak to the driver's liking.
That's what i seen and told by Yamada at tje option taping.

Why is this getting out of hand, it's %100 on topic. What the hell is wrong with you??? If you don't like it, don't read it!
Vosko, if I were you, I would DEFINATELY use the FC instead of the FD, just because it'll be so much cheaper when you inevitably crash, and crash again, and again.
Just ask Skunks, he's seen it all first hand!
