DP and MP question

i searched and i am going to install my DP and Mid tonight. They are the ebay ones, so i will let everyone know how it works or how shitty they are. My question is for the air pump. I have an intake and my car mooo's, which annoys the hell outta me. I do not have a cat back yet, but i was wondering if i could just unplug the airpump without messing anything up? Any up/downs for unplugging it other than emmissions and wired idle problems?

Thanks,
Eric

should be fine. the airpump is there solely for the cat. Since you are removing the cat, take that ****** out.

while you're at it, get an efini y-pipe and some new pullies!

Ehhhh, wrong. Unless you're doing a full-blockoff plate install and have a way to reduce your idle, you're gonna have to leave that thing plugged in. Without it, you'll run a high rich idle.

Do you already have everything removed? If not, turn your car on, let it warm up, then pull the connector on the airpump. That's how it will idle.

Well...don't expect the cat to last long.

The question was if there was anything he should expect other than idle probs and potential emissions issues.

The answer is still no, nothing else will happen other than running rich.

Fair enough. I like to stop reading when i'm 90% through a post. Call it ADD if you must, I call it "high on exhaust".
