Downsides to aftermarket main drive pulley?

I've been doing some research on the pulley setup I want to run, I'm planning on going with ebay WP/ALT, Unorthodox main drive pulley and the pineapple racing idler kit.

My main concern is not really the issues with underdriving because from what I've read, that isn't an issue with these cars, but my concern is I haven't been able to find any info on whether there is any sort dampening in the stock main drive pulley.

Any info is appreciated!

Thanks,
Lee

If you mean like a harmonic damper then no, these motors are internally balanced. I wouldn't change the main drive pulley when using those others. It is going to be difficult to find the proper length belt and you might under drive the alternator too much. I would either get the full unorthodox set or just do the ebay (greddy copy) pulley set.
