Doesnt seem like my down pipe will seal up to the GT35R nice and tight. Is it possible the engine is not straight? I'm going to remove the alum cross pc. at the tranny and cut the old support weldment off and see if the exhaust will move more to the center of the chassis?

 

Who made the downpipe? It probably wasn't manufactured properly.

 

Yea, thats what I was thinking. I was able to move the engine about 1/64" to the right but thats hardly enough. Worse come to worse I can always cut off the flange and re-tig it.

I used to have Enkei RPO1's before I had my custom made Volks.

 

Do you have the original cat or a midpipe/high flow?

 

Pettit midpipe. I'm trying to shift the rest of the exhaust but I have a feeling the
flange on the downpipe is not welded on at the position I need? I am going to hook up some other stuff and go back to it.
