door handle

I just broke the driver side outside door handle of my fd. does anybody know where I can buy a replacement? the dealer quoted $263? any place cheaper?

That happened to me too and the JB weld only lasts for so long.... it broke and broke again and again.... so... I would just buy a new one or get a used one from one of the people who are parting out their cars.

Because Ray offers us US guys great prices on all OEM parts without needing to join Mazdasports, that he deserves our support.

Someone with the capability and resources should mold these things out of aluminum.

I remember someone on hear trying to tell me he had stock aluminum pulls, were any of the handles ever produced with an aluminum pull? I have had several (3 sets) original93s a set of 95s and a new set, and none aluminum. He said he polished them, but couldn’t produce any pics so I am very doubtful.

The best way to keep them from breaking it seems is to not just deal with the slow binding and buildup inside of the handle, but take some time and clean those things out and make sure the associated actuators and rods are all lubed and operating freely

How I see it is Ray gets paid no matter what because he is at a dealership. Doesn't matter how many parts you buy. Jason from JT-Imports he sells parts and thats it. If he quit you would have to buy JDM parts from Jason from the RX7 Store for more money

Ray does get paid, no matter what. However, he can charge what all other dealerships charge if he and the dealership wanted; but he doesn't. For that, we should ALL thank him.
