Newbe,

(1)if i get a 2 bar MAP sensor do i have to upgrade the ecu to puch more boost?
Not needed unless you have a very modded engine and want to run more than 16+psi boost. The stock ecu could not use it unless for vacuum to 17PSI it had the same voltage curve. The stock ecu is mapped for stock air flow and boost below 12PSI.

(2)do i need a boost controller or could i just get a nice wastegate?
To run higher boost on a stock ecu, you need an external boost controller. Almost imposible or very costly to put another WG on the stock turbo housing.

(3)would it be of any benefit to get a nicer BOV
i could give a rats *** about the sound(i like to think so anyways)
A big waste of money unless you have a very modded engine and a single turbo.

some people do ship there turbos out to get the wasegate ported, but im pretty sure if you look at the top of the 3rd gen section where it says helpful links or whatever it should tell you how to port them yourself. Just know what your getting into before attempting this by yourself. If you plan on running higher boost then you will probally need an aftermarket ECU such as an Apexi Power FC which will also act as a boost controller.
