Does it need to have a pressure chamber?

hey. i was in the proccess of going from non-sequential back to sequential, and I realized, why is there a pressure chamber? i didnt look at the normal vacuum diagram, but for the simpified system it seems pointless. the presure chamber is there to hold pressure so that when the turbo control actuator needs opened, he solenoid opens and give pressure to the actuator, along which vacuum from the vac chamber. the vac chamber is obvious, since u need to store vacuum elsewhere while in boost. but why have a pressure chamber if the manifold where the pressure source comes from is going to be under boost anyway? theres no need to store it.

please correct me if im wrong

chambers are used to stabalize the vacuum and pressure through the hose maze.

Well, try it both ways and see what happens . You need to fill a volume up with pressure to move the flapper door, so if you were only using available boost pressure from a vacuum line you'd likely get slower response. That's my guess at least.

If Mazda could have saved 5 cents to not include the pressure tank, they would have.
