No. Its a speed-density system.

Alright thank you. And thank you google for explaining what speed density system was.
And indian get a life. Thats far from common knowledge.

you'll find on these forums that the rx7 has a MAP (manifold absolute pressure) base system would be considered common knowlege

you'll also find that the search button is a useful tool

Actually I would be to differ most common day cars use a combination of both and the era in which or cars produced engineers chose either one or the other.

Lets face it in 2 years you will look back on your own thread and have a good laugh about it too so don't be so glum chum.

Pure speed density systems still exist on brand new cars and they are more sophisticated than ever. Take the Taurus SHO for example, 3.5L directed injected twin turbo:

most common day cars use a combination of both
They may use an airflow sensor and a MAP sensor, but all the load calculations are based on airflow sensor voltage with corrections made for driving conditions. That's how the 2nd gen Rx-7's worked (flapper airflow meter + 2 bar MAP sensor) back in 1986, and Subarus are now a perfect modern example of this. On those cars all the fuel and timing tables are indexed based on Absolute Load calculations:

The MAP sensor is used for things like closed loop boost control and evaporative emissions. In the end, you're still either speed density (Bosch D-Jetronic style, Porsche 914) or airflow meter based (Bosch L-Jetronic style, Porsche 924) for the main EFI calculations.

map/speed density are often used interchangeable. Yes it has a map sensor.
