does this happen on every FD?

well, being one year with my FD, I am always have the problem, it's like everytime when the car about to stop from rolling, if I don't press the clutch, the car will shake. I am not talking about how to stop a car typically, I am saying that I can feel the shaking is coming from the engine, also one friend who is suppose to know a lot of cars, particularly asked me about it. So, I mean is that the feature of rotary engine?

When I pull up to a stop, my car does that too. It kind of stumbles. Doesn't stall, just stumbles a bit, and the RPMs drop.

I thought it was probably a vacuum leak somewhere.....

Any thoughts guys?

Well, if you leave it in gear and start coming to a stop, and the RPMs start dropping deep into the lower 100s....umm...yaaa it WILL shake. This happens with ANY manual car that you leave in gear, you start slowing, and the RPMs starts dropping below where idle is usually at.

My idle stumbles a lot also. I guess thats how they all are. When my fans come on, my idle drops way down and catches the last second.

Try replacing the spark plugs and adjust the idle a little. It may also be a small vac leak at the LIM. A tuneup should solve the problem unless if it's a big vac leak.
