Does this Exhaust Manifold look right? (Pics)

So I've never seen a 3rd Gen stock exhaust manifold off and I happen to now be the proud owner of a box of 3rd Gen Parts...ha.

This Exhaust Manifold looks like a weird weld or pressing on one side with a tube going through the interior. Is this really correct? It doesn't look like what I expected a stock piece to be.

That is in fact a stock exhaust manifold. As it is not practical as a paperweight, nor is it good a anything else, I would advise you to dispose of it at your nearest metal recycle facility. At least there the materials will be given the chance to be turned into items that are actually worth keeping.

You could ceramic coat it and then people will really jump on it.

That tube is for EGR. The Japanese exhaust manifolds don't have them. Not sure if that gives better flow or what have you, but there you go.

Stock manifolds are typically pretty hardy. I don't think I've ever really seen a *bad* one, just ones with messed up studs or whatnot.
