does anyone know where i can just get the Oil Hose Retaining Clip on the oil cooler lines. i called mazda and they want like 40+ dollars for the assembly. im just looking for the 2 locking clip itself.

 

I would say you could buy that from the parts section on this forum, but thats so small I doubt anybody would ship it, unless it was put in an envelope via USPS. Other then that, you'll probably have to buy the OEM connectors from mazda. I would suggest buying them from Ray Crowe at Malloy Mazda since he will give you a discount.

 

They do sell the clip individually, part # N3A1-14-6220 but they are $29ea , the hose end assembly N3G1-14-8500 is $41

Are they the same size as the quick disconect on vortec chevy truck heater hoses, their are 2 different ones. I will look at mine when I get to work.

 

If you can find a part interchange, please post it. Many of us have felt the pain of buying new clips at that Mazda price.
