does anyone have a pic with the bumper cover off?

my shell came without any bumper at all, no cover, no rebar, no brackets.
I've been looking forever for a clear pic of what I'm missing under the bumper cover but haven't found a pic that shows what parts I'm missing or how they go together, can someone post one please?

doesn't clear it up, the problem is I've never taken this car apart so I don't know how it goes together or what is missing. What I need is the part that attaches to the holes in the front of the fenders, and the piece that you can see when you open the hood and look down at the hood catch, you can see a little bit of aluminum(?) from the bracket, I don't know if that's one piece or what to call it.

I have no idea what you are talking about haha.

As far as i remember, the fenders and front clip assembly bolt directly onto the chassis, I dont remember any brackets.

on the front of each fender is a bolt hole, circled below, and then looking down in some pics I can see a metal bracket I don't have, where the lines are.
I assume this is a support of some sort that the bumper cover attaches too, but I don't know for sure.

There is a LONG extended bracket that goes along the entire upper lip of the front bumper.

The only thing thats seen is the aluminum bracket thats actually bolted to the car itself, and thats held by 4 10MM bolts. The rest you have to access through the inner front fenders by removing part of the fender liner.

I know this installation dearly as i did my 99 front bumper conversion only last week.

If you buy a complete bumper, it SHOULD come with the brackets (entire bracket assembly as its useless to seperate, it works (bolts) together to make 1 LONG bracket).

But for the people who did the 99 conversion, like i did, swapped the brackets so most bumpers for sale dont come with it.

So make sure when you shop for a bumper, to ask if it comes with the necessary bracket.

Go to the mazda parts manuals linked in the stickies. The stuff adds up think three aluminium top pieces, two side brakets, three rubber top strips and number of bolts and rivets. Think its about $200 of stuff.

Ok I found my list. Could probable buy old bumper complete cheaper. Now I have completeold bumper and wanted to keep it mountable.

Yup, buying a used 93 bumper and just swapping brackets CAN be the cheaper route. Except if the seller were to ship it, now you're paying for shipping costs as well and a bumper is quite alot.

Try to find someone local that has a used bumper to swap brackets.
