Does 1992 fd need EGR hole in down pipe gasket?
Looking to purchase a turbo to down pipe gasket for my 1992 fd. Was originally imported from Japan. Apparently the jdm models don't have an EGR valve, but can anyone confirm this?
Found a link to a '90 cosmo gasket from atkins rotary for $50, but will this fit my fd or do i need a $100+ N3A1 gasket with the EGR hole in it?
Also note its for a FEED down pipe that I just purchased.
Link to cosmo gasket:
90-95 Cosmo Exhaust Manifold Gasket (NF01-13-461)

1. that gasket in the link is the engine to manifold gasket.
2. the turbo to DP gasket is the same for every FD ever
3. the JDM cars do not have EGR.
4. the JDM cars use the same engine to manifold gasket as the US models, the difference is that there is no EGR pipe in the exhaust manifold.
5. the DP to turbo gasket is N3A1-13-491
6. the DP to converter/midpipe gasket is an RF36-40-305
7. have fun!
