At least try to break up stuff like this, it's incomprehensible:

So I give him the most RESPECT that I can because I want Peter on my side when **** goes down hill because I know deep down he is a real down to Earth guy and does that Best job to an FD that others could wish they could even try to match....
Bottom line you guys honestly have not had any real world dealings with him(some have but not as many seam to flame him) you guys are not in his customer base and there are plenty there. I am going to continue to Represent Peter Farrell Supercars and do it proudly I love his shop and there is nothing better than PFS IMO
that is it....
see ya

Ryan, I've read a lot of your posts and know that you are fairly knowledgeable. It's just that this incessant *** kissing public relations thing you are on about PFS is making it difficult for me and possibly others to maintain the perception your credibility in the same light as before.

So give peace a chance and I will find the cause and will share it very soon.

-Rikki

Ryan,
You and I both know that there are reasons that can cause a motor to blow that wouldn't cause it to blow on a dyno, heat maybe? How hot was it saturday? Was it the same tempurature(sp??) on the dyno? There are a ton of other things that can blow a motor, but I still find it fishy no matter what you say about PFS. Does it have to be PFS's fault? No. But again it blowing so close after the tuning date sounded fishy to me.
IMO I didn't blast farrel but you seem to guard his reputation with a knife ready to start a flame war with anyone who questions his actions, his tuners or the way he runs his business. Someone gives their opinion on his work and you get all defensive about it. You on the PFS payroll? People have opinions you know and hate to tell you this but most people in the NE don't like PFS so you will hear alot of bad stuff thrown at Peter and it will probably never end. The Gmonsen vs. Farrel thing I don't want to get into, but shitty lawyer or not he was found guilty by a judge and now owes Gmonsen 35k for some reason, and I don't think it was ONLY "he got screwed by a shitty lawyer". Again this has nothing to do with the subject at hand though other than he was PROVED to be shady at some period of time running his business. I thought about checking him out to get my next FD(I saw a CYM he had for sale), but again I don't need the hassle or trouble taking the chance to see if he's shady or not.
I find it great that he is going to do the porting for free and I hope everything works out well without you having to spend much $$. I am curious to see if you wind up spending any more $$ buying stuff "while you're at it" from him or if you just get your ported motor and go. And I am very anxious to hear the cause of the motor going south. Ryan I will give peice a chance.

First off you start out by flaming Ryans age (22) btw. Which is against forum rules.2ndly when your getting free dyno time and performance tech support and parts. You can talk about not wanting outside support. But since you are mislead and not shy to say it. Ryan is not getting PFS to rebuild his engine. They are porting it out for free and setting and tunning his car for the Drag on Aug.18th. This is Peter showing support for his loyal customers.I guess your telling me you wouldn't take a free port job and tunning. Because you would do a better job than PFS huh? As far as Peter switching engines on GMonsen. I saw the original invoice for the job qoute today. I held it in my f-ing hand. It said very clearl;y "USED" engine. GMonsen knew all along about what he was getting. Have you seen the paperwork?
Or are you just reitterarting what you read on the internet?
Then you go on to bust Ryan out on his spelling.. Sorry guy but thats my job!!! Ryan makes no excuses for his spelling..
Then you state that Peter is very cold but an OK guy. What the F does that mean... He took you on a date and wouldn't talk to you but tickled your *** at the end of the night? WTF your comment made no sense to me Sorry. Peter hired a lawyer with no stage presence. Also his lawyer had no knowledge of cars. Peter was suing for defemation. He wasn't expecting to need a lawyer that could argue technicalities of turbo systems and Rotary engines. There is really alot to this that you don't know about so your comments looks silly. You read the internet way to much .....As far as "Older adults" reading "crap" that Ryan posts. This is where you really sound like a jackass. You can only speak for yourself . How do yoiu know what other people read? Thats just ignorant to even make that asertion. We just went to a BBQ with about 30-40 RX7 owners and Ryan was quite the Celebrity there if I may say. So your little point doesn't really hold water here with me. We will make our a respectful way when you learn to do the same. Get over yourself dude.
-Dave Clair.
Ohh Ohh

This is a ver ignorant post. Sorry but it is. Dave, I have nothing against you or any of the other MD/VA guys just stating an opinion. You are flaming someone for breaking a forum rule of flaming someone(and for their age yet?)? You guys never break any? There was nothing wrong with Jodeny's first post. He simply questioned Ryan.. And alot of people read threads in the 3rd gen section so yes this thread is affectiong PFS's customer base right now. I am sure there are alot of people who have/had/are thinking of buying PFS products in here. And again if PFS hired a lawyer that knew nothing about cars, turbos, or rotarys then that's his fault, not anyone elses. On the gordon knew what he was getting thing, Are you saying GMonsen is a liar??

The most bullshit sentence of that paragraph is this :

"We just went to a BBQ with about 30-40 RX7 owners and Ryan was quite the Celebrity there if I may say."

Who cares? Ryan is popular because he's outspoken, and he posts alot on the forum that statement means nothing else. Yes he has quite a bit of technical knowledge(and I respect that) but to say that someones popularity at a bar-b-que has anything to wit this thread is insane. It's merely bragging rights that your friend is popular with people in the MD area. You mean Ryan was the most popular person at the bar-b-que? Oh wow!!

LOL

I still think he should change his sig to say PFS looney tooned and boomed!

what do you think?

regardless...if a good engine build vid comes out of this then everyone will be thanking the kid instead of blasting his undying affections for his shop.

til then...change the sig...hehe

j

PS...in my few dealings with GMonson...I found him to be very helpful...giving...and extremely knowledgable. Apparently what happened happened and its not worth fighting about...but honestly...After all I have heard about pfs from the forum members here and after dealing with gordon in regards to my own car...im glad he won.

one thing i wanted to add....rikki....is that if you did not get so defensive about pfs with the other forum members none of this convo would have happened.

hope to see you all at sevenstock! Maybe we can all hit the one of the local tracks that weekend and see who got ballz and who is just talk!

Id love to see how my daily driven m2/RRR car would fare against a similarily modded pfs car running non seq with a streetport.

Im ready to BBQ! hehehe

in regards to the last post you made....tis probably hard to see clearly when your nose is in pfs buttocks. too bad that place took a dump right on your face while it was up there and now ya got no motor.

lol

since when is your bbq a required forum event?

get that car fixed dood...

better double check your maps too...Id hate to see your next motor do the same...all fun aside...I honestly hope ya get it up and running strong.

peoples is a blamin your tuning cuz apparently that is the only thing that changed since you were running strong...bad apexs being a result of that kind of possible circumstance.

it sucks that you wont get your problem investigated before changing the motor.

blind devotion is an interesting thing indeed.

I have three cats...if I wake up and find a pile of shi# in the living room I can assume it's the one that did it before....sure one of the others could have done it...but I'd check the bobcats box before I looked anywhere else. gotta start the problem solving with the primary suspect ya know...friggen cat. lol

Ryan, Westminster is a far peice to drive from where Gordon's at, I wouldn't blame him for not feeling like driving. Besides he probably didn't come for the same reason I didn't because I didn't have a 7 and that would take alot of the fun out of the bar-b-que because I would be wishing I'd had a 7 too. I believe Gordon is around bethlehem(sp?), PA and it takes me hours to get to that area and I'm 30 mins from westminster.

Gee, this thread sure has gotten quite out of hand...

On a side note...I have successfully pulled my engine today...EVERYTHING went right except that one of the bolt holding the wiring harness to the starter broke off ...but Jesse Lau had one to trade for my A/C Condenser .

I'll be putting the "BITCH" back in tomorrow
