Cruized from the beach to the Tail of the Dragon across the entire state of NC. 1850 miles driven in five days, including big thrashes on the Dragon. Not a whimper out of my car. I brough extra oil and water of course, but I didn't need anything except some gas and two stroke oil. Of course I have gone through the car and replaced just about all the possible things that could fail. I believe in keeping on top of car maintanance.

I flew to Sacramento CA to pick up my car, drove it back to Dallas. That was the very first time I drove the car, other than the test drive when I arrived to check it out. No problems, averaged 28-30 mpg.
I'm driving from Dallas to Dayton in two weeks. Did you take interstates the whole way?
