Do the RX7's in Japan have HIDs?

Do the RX7's in Japan have HIDs?
The RX7 in Japan has been around for a while and hasn't had it's production cease until recently in Japan...anyone know if HIDs were an option? Seems like the way to go if I get true HIDs on my FD.

I'm more interested in getting the light cases that the bulbs go into. From what I understand the european and japanese versions have a better mirror setup inside and the glass is a little flatter giving a better light dispersion. I would just get a set of those and buy a set of the high/low h4 hid lights off of ebay. Just doesn't seem worth the effort to get the hid bulbs and still keep the crappy stock light assemblies. If anybody has a lead on where to get the light assemblies let me know.
