do i need to replace this solenoid????

i just got to looking at a printout of the solenoid valves a lot closer. page f-190 of the manual. well, as it turns out, there was a broken solenoid. well the broken one is the double throttle(all the way to the left in the bottom picture). the one the is broken is the solenoid closest to the front of the car. if it is for the double throttle, and i have already disabled the double throttle, then what i need to know is do i ahve to go get a new one? im thinking no, but anyone other input please.

the furthest solenoid from the firewall in the nest is the double throttle control..if you have no desire to enable it.. I wouldnt replace it..
if you want it permanently removed, my assumption would be that you can remove all the associated vacuum lines to include the chamber, solenoid, check valve and filter...im not sure if this will generate a code for the check engine light..i left mine enabled..just made sure the actuator/butterflies was functioning properly...i need to research its purpose more to determine what gains a removal might provide...easy guess would be better air flow...youll need to remove these as well if you want it completely out...just make sure you cap the port from the UIM and block the actuator opening...

If you disabled your double throttle already then leave the solenoid plugged into the harness so the check engine light will not come on. Just block off all the nipple on the UIM and remove all unnecessary hoses.
