do i need a rebuild or just a clutch.

do i need a rebuild or just a clutch.
ok i love rx7s but to be honest i know very little about them. trashed my rx7 at the falkirk wheel in scotland. 15min later my rx7 was not picking up speed. was reving high. so i thought iv blown the engine as smoke was comin out of the rotor housing at time seems like the rotor house but ive been told the clutch is also located near the rotor housing. last night i started the car up put in gear and then realesed the clutch(foot pedal) and the car never stalled or moved in gear. so i think i might need a new clutch or some thing. will be posting a vid on you tube later. can anyone tell me if i need a new clutch. if so am thinking about an aftermarket one something that can deal with a bit of drifting etc.
