Do I need this plugged in with abs Disco

Do I need this plugged in when I do not have ABS connected??

Yes. That's the brake fluid level sensor, if the fluid level drops (like from a brake fluid leak) the BRAKE light comes on on the dash. Excellent safety feature and can literally save your life.
