Do any of you upgrade twins or just go single turbo?

I was just curious if its common for people to upgrade the twin turbo setup or just go to a bigger single?

Would there be any disadvantages for keeping twins? I assume it would be cheaper/easier.

Thanks

I went with the 99 spec tiwns becuase I wanted the low end boost they give and I didnt want to have the lag of the single. I know I could have gone with a small single, but I prefered the twins.

Sure, I wont get the bigger hp numbers that I could have gotten with the single, but Ill have what I wanted.

I went single for simplicity. I had originally planned to upgrade the twins, but was 1) convinced otherwise, 2) wanted the power and 3) combination of simplicity and reduced clutter. You can still go single and not have to sacrifice everything in terms of low end. Just be careful on what you choose.

is that Chu's car? that thing is insane, with the twin 2835gt's you can't go wrong, except 9k for a turbo upgrade is a bit steep...

Do a search here in the 3rd Gen forum for "BNR". They are a popular upgrade for the twin turbos.

but it only dynoed at 478rwhp which is impressive but i would expect more with that setup..

I chose the sleeper effect of stock-appearing twins along with the simplicity of non-sequential operation and the power of a T-78
