Do Air duct for head lights work for the FDS?

I was thinking of ways to reduce the air intake temps. I notice that there is very little space between the light and cover. So IM wondering if intake air temps would be helped at all with these ducted headlight covers?

What are your opinions?
Thanks

The biggest difference you'll make with intake/charge temps is to make sure to have a good intercooler (and good ducting if its an SMIC).

I have greddy front mount so there is no way to have cold air ducting. PFC says my air temp is 40+ degrees celsius. I assume this is quite high considering the ambient temp is about 20.

Just curious to know what intercooler setup has proven to run the "coldest" on an FD. I.E Intake Temps

That basically where it should be:

You aren't going to be close to ambient temp unless your IC is frozen. Since you are using ambient air as your way to cool the charge temp, getting your intake temp to be the same as the ambient temp would be the "ideal" situation.

It really depends on your usage as to what type of IC would best fit.
